6142
Armin van Buuren
Armin van Buuren is a trance (mostly progressive trance and uplifting trance) music producer and DJ from Netherlands. His musical career started in 1995.He has been named number one in the prestigious DJ MAG Top 100 poll four times in a row, from 2007 till 2010 and for the 5th time in 2012. He's the first DJ in the history of the DJ Magazine to achieve that and an indication of his prolific output over more than 14 years he’s been dj’ing and producing. Being the official World’s Most Popular DJ is just one of his many achievements, but the driving force behind his success is an overriding passion for electronic dance music.2008 began with the success that the number one DJ seems to attract; he was awarded with the prestigious Buma Cultuur Pop Award in January. This was followed by being voted as the Best Trance Artist in the Beatport Music Awards in March; judged on the musician’s artistic achievements, national and international success, it is evident that Armin van Buuren has become one of the decade’s most influential trance acts.Even a basic list of recent successes reads like a lifetime of work: ‘Best Album’ for artist album ‘Shivers’ at both the Dutch Release Dance Awards and the prestigious Edison Awards; ‘Best Compilation’ for ‘A State Of Trance’, in 2006, claiming the ‘Best European DJ’ award in 2007 and ‘Best Mix Radio Show’ at the Miami Winter Music Conference in 2006 and 2007, for radio show ‘A State Of Trance’ – now broadcasting on a massive 40 FM stations as well as satellite and internet radio, with over 26 million listeners a week; a 5th year residency in Ibiza at Amnesia and over 50,000 downloads every week from podcasting high end chart-bothering positions all over the world for singles, albums and compilations , with single “Rush Hour” used as the theme tune to the UEFA European Youth Championship; the #1 entry in the Dutch album charts with his artist album ‘Imagine’, the #1 entry of the DVD registration of ‘Armin Only ‘ Imagine’ – the landmarks just keep coming!The 350th episode and the 7th year of the hit radio show ‘A State of Trance’ was celebrated in May 2008 with an eight hour live broadcast from Antwerp in Belgium to over 40 radio stations internationally. Fans were invited to a free party with a line up that had been voted for by the show’s listeners; another example of the importance the DJ places on the satisfaction of his fans. Considering the popularity of the radio show the introduction of ‘A State of Trance Podcast’ was a natural progression. The weekly podcasts which contain highlights and Armin’s favourite tracks from the previous episode ensure that trance lovers across the world will never miss another episode!Sold-out shows for Armin Only in 2005 and 2006 created eager anticipation of the third edition, which kicked off in a sold-out Jaarbeurs in Utrecht in 2008; over 16,000 fans attended and were enthralled by the DJ’s nine hour set. The theme of the night was ‘Imagine’, described by Armin as “the celebration of our sensations both in life and in clubland.” Fans all around the world should not despair, as ‘Armin Only’ tour dates have also been set for Romania, Poland, Belgium and Australia; the DJ will also be touring in England, Scotland, Ibiza, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, and the USA, with expected dates in, for an example, the Czech Republic.Born in Leiden, Holland (on December 25, 1976) to a musical family, Armin indulged his passion for music from a young age. He spent all the money he earned with his paper round on records. His mum won a computer when he was 10, gaining Armin’s interest. “So as a little nerdy kid I was writing my own basic programmes, and learnt about the technology from there.” He progressed from making low-profile mix tapes for friends to higher profile mixes when he discovered experimenting with different sequences on his computer through his uncle. “I was so stunned by what I saw him doing on the computer, that I got addicted to creating music right there and then!”“I loved dance music immediately – this great rebellious sound that was so different to the ‘beautiful’ songs of the years before”. Armin cites electronic pioneer Jean Michel Jarre as a major influence (famed for his awesome visuals as well as his groundbreaking synth sounds), as well as Dutch producer Ben Liebrand, who later mentored him in his mixing and producing.In the early days, Armin thought it was wise to have something extra in case the DJ’ing didn’t work out. So he studied for a law degree. The final year of his course was inevitably stretched as he juggled his studies with his increasingly hectic schedule; his rise to fame included lots of productions and remixes, as well as playing out to packed clubs every weekend. It took him three years to graduate, but his determination made him succeed!Armin’s own productions have all made a huge impact and quickly gain worldwide acclaim; his latest artist album titled ‘Imagine’ entered the Dutch Album Top 100 Chart at number one; this is the first time a dance producer has ever accomplished such a feat in the history of Dutch music. The first single to be taken from this album, ‘Going Wrong’ with DJ Shah featuring Chris Jones, entered the Dutch Singles Chart at number five. The ‘Armin Only DVD’ was also released and reached the acclaimed number one spot in its second week. His back catalogue includes Blue Fear, Communication, Sound of Goodbye, Shivers, Rush Hour, Burned With Desire, Exhale, Love You More, This World Is Watching Me, and Yet Another Day. While the remix offers flood in, Armin only takes on tracks that he really loves. He uses exactly the same criteria for his compilations, meaning that every release from Armin or his long-running Armind label is a bone fide stormer that’s earned its place. His output includes tracks for the cult TV series 24, and the likes of Motorcycle’s As The Rush Comes.Armin is a dedicated trance lover, but isn’t imprisoned by a single genre, saying “What makes trance work so well is that it doesn’t stick to one style, and can incorporate electro, minimal, whatever it likes.” His desire to showcase more of the great music he hears, along with the number of people sending him tracks they wanted to release, led to the obvious step of starting his own label, Armada, in 2003.The label is a joint venture between Armin, Maykel Piron (former head of A&R for Warner Music) and David Lewis, who'd previously managed Armin. "What we wanted was a company that could offer everything for an artist: representation, a booking agency, and a record company. Artists can choose full management, or to just release a record or play out at gigs. Armada lets the artists choose what they want without telling them what to do".Armin is now a fully-fledged artist in his own right, having made his songwriting debut on his album, the award-winning Shivers; The events continue to get bigger and bigger, and Armin regularly headlines the likes of Sensation White, Global Gathering, Dance Valley, ZoukOut, Mysteryland, Coachella, Beats In Brazil, Trance Energy, Fort Dance, Summer Days – basically whether you’re in Australia, Russia, the Middle East, the US or Europe, you can catch Armin van Buuren at a club or festival near you!"This is just what I really want," says Armin. "It’s not just love for music, it’s my passion. It goes beyond liking, and beyond a hobby, it’s about a way of living. Music is essential to my life”.
http:///images/6142_h_0.jpg
please contact
6451
Dash Berlin
Dash Berlin is the future. Dash Berlin is a true DJ at heart with a profound passion for the comprehensive culture of dance music. He is often described as an invigorating and charismatic newcomer, with the unique ability to leave a long-lasting impression upon his audience well after the night is over. Dash is one of those rare individuals that seems to understand the unwritten laws of the nightclub by nature. He keeps his ever expanding, nocturnal following alert, ecstatic and craving for more, with remarkable precision and skill. One could easily mistake him for a superstar deejay. However, the truth remains that Dash Berlin views the world through the same eyes as his public. "It's virtually impossible to make progress without the continuing support of the people", he humbly said. Dash Berlin, was born as Jeff X. Sutorius, in November 1979, in The Hague, the Netherlands. A family with wide musical tastes surrounded him and because of his late father, who was a distinguished drummer in a jazz band; Dash became acquainted with the typical marks of rhythmic music at a very young age. While still at high school, he became a devoted fan of electronic music, regularly enjoying mix tapes that his older sister brought home from the clubs she worked at as a professional dancer. In his late teens, Dash Berlin started working at a record shop and became a dedicated vinyl collector with a fascination for melodic, synthesized house music, subsequently known as "Trance". Inspired by pioneering figures such as; Sven Väth, Oliver Lieb and Sander Kleinenberg, he slowly but surely started to develop his own innovative style of mixing and producing. His hidden work ethic seemed not to be about producing more, but rather less and differently. It is this vision that still sets him apart in a crowded and highly competitive scene. Propelled by his passion, he literally performed everywhere, from nine-hour long gigs in shopping malls to the notorious illegal Dutch warehouse parties. During his set on the world famous Love Parade, Dash decided to incorporate the word 'Berlin' in his artist name. "It's an ode to a metropolis and her engaging, urban landscape," he said, "Where I have seen more then a million people dancing on the streets, in the in the spirit of an ever-evolving Europe". In early 2006, he teamed up with fellow producers and close friends, Molijn & Kalberg, who were regular customers at his record shop. "These guys are amazing visionaries and astonishing studio wizards, they are the foundation of my sound" Dash remarked, "I still learn from them every day". Together they designed an ambitious and unprecedented new sound of Trance, quickly labeled as the "Dash Berlin Sound". Futuristic, scintillating, but above all, moving and emotive music that relates to the universal dance floor experience, shared by innumerable music fans from multifarious cultures around the globe. Although a vigorous believer in political awareness, the message of Dash Berlin is simple; "It's all about having a good time again," he stated, "The art of celebrating life resonates inside of everyone". In 2007, none other than Armin van Buuren revealed his newfound discovery to the world and featured Dash Berlin's debut record "Till The Sky Falls Down" on his legendary 'Universal Religion' album. The track became one of the most memorable, global anthems that year and remains one of the cultivated blueprints of the new Trance renaissance. The black & white music video that complimented the radio mix was shot in the heart of Berlin proper. The clip grew to be a genuine labor of love, using the latest in digital cinematography, and successfully avoided the typical clichés of contemporary dance music videos. In the beginning of 2009, under the mighty wings of Armada Music, plans emerged to expand the Dash Berlin universe with his very own label called 'Aropa'. It represents an eclectic high-quality outlet for Dash Berlin's avant-garde productions and collaborations. The label will also be a solid foundation for rising talent and established like-minded artists. "The Aropa brand holds a deeper connotation too", Dash revealed, "It also stands for the axiom of sharing art, inspiration and creativity". The first release is the monster anthem "Man On The Run", which is a prolific collaboration with fellow Armada artists Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren. The track sky rocketed to the top of the international Trance charts and received a prestigious nomination for 'Best Trance Track' at the annual Trance Awards. October 2009 brought the global release of Dash Berlin's critically acclaimed debut album: "The New Daylight". Besides being a varied collection of styles, it also features instant classics such as: "Till The Sky Falls Down", "Man On The Run", "Waiting" and "Never Cry Again". 2009 ended with a reverberating bang, when listeners voted for a large number of Dash Berlin tracks and remixes in the 'A.S.O.T. End Of Year 250'. With "Man On The Run" standing out at number 5, the anthemic "Waiting" even went neck-and-neck with number one, ending at a respectable second place as the A.S.O.T. Tune Of The Year. 2010 promises to be another momentous year for Dash Berlin. In January, his 'New Daylight 2010 World Tour' kicked off in Australia and due to an overwhelming public demand, the "Flying Dutchman" is scheduled to jet to every corner of the world. From the hottest nightclubs to festivals with crowds numbering in the thousands, Dash connects with his audiences in a magical way that has spawned a worldwide following. This following is backed by a massive online presence through Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and other social networking platforms. His dedicated fans actively vote for him when it matters the most. This loyal support already resulted in an astonishing number 20 DJ List position early in the year. It also gained him honorable spots on the ' Future Stage' at Trance Energy and the A.S.O.T. 450 Celebration, which are two of the largest and most essential Trance events in the world. Last years voting rewarded him with an esteemed nomination for 'Best Break Through Artist', this year Dash Berlin was nominated an astonishing three times at the International Dance Music Awards. In February, Dash raised the bar with a pioneering 42-minute long 'Flashback' YouTube video mix, which received more than a hundred thousand views within a few weeks after uploading. Other 'Dash Berlin TV' videos are breaking records as well, with millions of views from all over the planet. With the creation and release of a free Dash Berlin iPhone app, the hard working deejay reaffirms his forward-thinking multimedia mindset. In March 2010, after mixing various popular Armada compilations, Dash Berlin released his very first official and long-awaited mix album aptly named 'United Destination'. This double-CD is a reflection of his recent gigs with a top selection of tracks straight from his record bag into two seamless deejay mixes. Says Markus: “Progression was conceived in the summer, whereas the debut album was done and released in winter, so Progression is less dark, and more influenced by sunny days in Miami. ‘Trinidad to Miami’ was actually written while I was flying over the ocean with the sun shining on the water, and encapsulates that feeling of optimism and happiness.”While some artists might find it hectic putting together an album with so much going on, Markus thrives on the inspiration he finds in his two bases – Miami and Berlin – and gigs everywhere in between. “I can't do one without the other - playing for the crowd makes me excited and gives me ideas for getting into the studio. When I’m in the studio, I can’t wait to play out what I’m making and seeing people react to it – the processes feed off each other.""When I grew up listening to music it had a huge influence on me, and made me who I am, so when I make my own music I do it with the listener in mind and try and recreate that one on one feeling I’ve always had. It’s something that gets you through hard times, is a soundtrack to good times, and touches you in a unique way."2008 kicked off with the release of his fourth compilation for Armada Music, ‘Amsterdam ‘08’, and Markus couldn’t be happier about its origins – Amsterdam is his spiritual home thanks to the overwhelming passion of the people resident there. “I always choose cities that are dear tome for my annual mix compilation” says Markus. “I just love Amsterdam, I feel a real connection there – my friends there are like my family. The people of Holland were one of the first to embrace and accept me and my sound, so it was the natural choice to do the 08 mix there.”2008 was set to bring more dates in Australia, as well as Asia and South America. His ‘Progression’ World Tour was a big success. Markus: “I have been fortunate to meet some truly outstanding fans in these places who have supported me so much over the past few years - knowing that they will be there front and centre each time I come into town is a cool feeling.”With no plans for slowing down anytime soon, Markus just might meet the world after all.
http:///images/10748_h_0.jpg
please contact"}

Late Night Tales Presents Sasha: Scene Delete was released in April 2006. He is also known for partnering with English DJ, John Digweed, as Sasha + Digweed. The pair released several mix albums together, including the Northern Exposure series (released between 1996 and 2001). They also released one of the all time best selling mix albums, The Renaissance Mix Collection part 1, in 1994. Sasha also released two Global Underground solo mix CDs, San Francisco (GU009) and Ibiza (GU013), which are considered classics of the progressive house genre.In 2002 he released his first solo LP, Airdrawndagger, a result of collaboration with Charlie May and Junkie XL, the album also featured a guest appearance from James Holden. The album enjoyed excellent reviews upon its release, and recently a wave of quality remixes by various producers has re-kindled interest in Sasha's production work. 2004 saw the release of Involver, his third in the Global Underground series. This mix album differed from previous albums in that each track was completely reproduced in the studio, as opposed to simply being blended together.More recently, in 2005, Sasha began moving away from mixing with records and CDs in favor of a new approach with computer software and a dedicated controller for his live sets. With the sequencing/mixing software Ableton Live and a custom controller that Sasha helped to design, he is able to use mixing techniques that are difficult or impossible with conventional methods, including mixing together many sources at once, adjusting pitch and tempo of sources independently, and cutting up and rearranging songs. His most recent mixed CD, Fundacion, was recorded using the Ableton Live software and the album bears the name of his monthly residency nights in both New York and Los Angeles.http://www.djsasha.com2) a hardcore/screamo band from San Diego, CA, active in the early 2000's.
9850
Gareth Emery
Ranked at number 7 in the world in the 2010 DJ Mag Top 100 Poll (up from number 23 in 2008 and number 9 in 2009) and tipped by both Paul van Dyk and Ferry Corsten as a future star, Gareth Emery is well on his way to becoming a fully paid up member of the global DJ elite. His podcast (The Gareth Emery Podcast) has fans all around the world and is regarded as one of the most consistent and exciting podcasts around. In 2009, Gareth Emery launched his own label - Garuda and has released tracks such as Exposure, Metropolis etc. Gareth Emery also delivers with his unique remixes. The highlight so far being the remix of Oceanlab's Lonely Girl featured in the Oceanlab Remixed album (June 09). “Boring DJs be very afraid: Gareth Emery is about to kick your arse”. So said Mixmag, when in 2002, they took the bold step of predicting that a virtually unknown 22 year-old would rise to become a major dance music star. However, six years later, it’s likely that even their expectations have been well surpassed. His current tour diary reads like the departure board at London’s Heathrow Airport. Desert island raves in Indonesia and snow-drenched mountains in Vancouver sit alongside major global events like San Francisco’s iconic Love Fest and Holland’s 30,000 strong Trance Energy. The likes of Asian superclub Zouk and Bondi Beach in Sydney complete the picture: in short, you’ll find Gareth at a mouth-watering, hand-picked selection of the planet’s coolest clubs and events, including UK super brands like Ministry of Sound and Gatecrasher.When not on tour, he’s kept rakishly busy in his Cambridgeshire studio as one of the scene’s most in-demand producers and remixes. If you’re not familiar with anthems like ‘More Than Anything’, ‘Formentera What’ or his seminal classic ‘Mistral’, you’re probably a little out of touch with the modern dance scene, but suffice to say that Tiesto, Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten and Judge Jules are all big fans, and Paul van Dyk and Armin van Buuren liked his work so much that they both commissioned him to work on their respective labels (Vandit / Armind). However, the majority of his music is still released on his Five AM imprint, (described by DJ Mag as ‘the most consistent trance label in the world’), where he’s a co-owner and A&R. Whatever the label, one thing that’s clear is that Gareth Emery stamps his hallmark of quality on a record, people listen.Always ahead of the game, Gareth was the one of the first leading DJs to embrace podcasting when he started his fortnightly radio show The Gareth Emery Podcast in early 2006. The show become an overnight success, immediately becoming an essential download for savvy dance music fans, and its widely imitated format has since helped to explode the popularity of dance music podcasts. It was also nominated for a Miami WMC IDMA Award for ‘Best Podcast’ along with Roger Sanchez and Pete Tong in 2007.But ultimately, it’s all about the music, and that’s where Gareth Emery really stands out. He’s one of a kind: a true individual with his own unique sound that falls somewhere between house, progressive and trance, but always remains focussed on melody and groove. It’s music for the heart, the soul, but ultimately, the dancefloor. He’s accessible but not commercial; credible but not obscure, and that’s why dance music fans the world over can’t get enough of him right now. His 2008 plans include a series of his own events (broadcast on the Podcast, of course), two new mix compilations, and perhaps, just perhaps, that long awaited debut artist album. Whatever the case, one thing is for sure: those boring DJs need to be even more afraid than ever.
http:///images/9850_h_0.jpg
please contact
6444
Rank 1
Introduction: They’re one of Europe’s most established, respected dance acts, having been catapulted to stardom by their debut release ‘Airwave’. In the 9 years that have followed they’ve continued to pack out the CD wallets of world’s A-list spinners with speaker-spankers that have included ‘Such is Life’, ‘Symfo’ and ‘Life Less Ordinary’… In 2009 they unleashed ‘L.E.D. There Be Light’ - a track that was quickly snapped up by ID&T as the anthem for that year’s Trance Energy event. Their Live and DJ sets induce floor-quakes before thousands of fans at clubs, arenas and festivals every single weekend. They are Piet Bervoets & Benno de Goeij… and they’re Rank 1. Rank 1’s Year One - ‘Airwave’: After a chance introduction at a party in the spring of 1997, Benno & Piet recognised much common musical ground and decided to work together. As the Dutch trance dawn rose up over Europe, the pair found themselves faultlessly positioned at its epicentre to reign. Championed by fellow fast-risers Armin van Buuren, Tiësto and Ferry Corsten, in 1999 the stadium-sized sound of ‘Airwave’ sent out an audio shockwave across the continent. It proved to be such a hit that just 12 months later ‘Airwave’ had been released, incredibly, in over 40 countries – jumping into the Top 10 in the UK and becoming the first Dutch track to top the European Dance Chart. The Rank 1 Singles: Working at the pace of roughly one floor-carnivore a year, Rank 1 followed-up with ‘Such is Life’ (2001), ‘Awakening’ (taken from their debut album ‘Symsonic’ - both 2002), ‘It’s up To You’ (2003), ‘Beats At Rank-1 Dotcom / After Me’ (2004) and ‘Opus 17 / Top Gear’ (2005). After a year’s production break they returned to the fray in '07 with two monster collaborations: ‘Life Less Ordinary’ (in tandem with Alex M.O.R.P.H.) and the ‘This World is Watching Me’, co-produced with Armin. The year after that the duo took the dancefloors by storm once again through their electro-boosted monster collaboration 'And Then' with the talented Jochen Miller. In 2009 Rank 1 became the ‘go-to’ men for event anthems, remarkably producing them for not one, but two world-class festivals. In February ‘L.E.D. There Be Light’ became the wildly-popular, Beatport-smash anthem for Trance Energy, while ‘Symfo’ was selected to define Poland’s colossal Sunrise festival. In 2010 they followed up with 'The Great Escape', the grand theme song to Poland's Entrance Festival and '100', a harmonious triple collaboration between them, Nic Chagall and Wippenberg to celebrate High Contrast Recordings' 100th milestone release. Another production break year followed with the guys returning to full force in early 2012 with the releases of the bigroom club smasher 'Wild And Perfect Day' (their third collaboration with Jochen Miller with vocals provided by Sarah Bettens) and the more tender 'Witness' (a vocal collaboration with Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren for their new album). Before the end of the year, the gents took a detour back to the roots of the trance genre by unleashing '7 Instead Of 8'; an innovative oldskool trance style track built on a seven times 4/4 measure rather than eight times. It received much support and praise for its nostalgic power by fans and colleagues alike. In fact, this very track led to a fan's request for them to collaborate with Belgian trance giant M.I.K.E. after the latter complimented them on 7 Instead Of 8. In 2013, this energetic clash-of-the-trance-titans collaboration 'Elements Of Nature' was unleashed, giving the fans an even stronger Millennial Trance feel than its predecessor! The Bigroom inspired speaker-spanker 'Floorlifter' was released only three months later and caused some expected damage on the international dancefloors throughout summer '13. Then, right before the end of the year, their Trance epic '13.11.11' saw the light of day, cleverly combining its +13 minute duration with its illusive title, specific tempo and winter release date. In 2014, the year of Rank 1's 15th anniversary saw them unleash an archetypical High Contrast styleblender called 'Freudenrausch' (with label mate Dennis Sheperd) as well as a modern electric interpretation of their '99 Mega Classic: 'Airwave (21st Century Mix)' was released on August 8th and sought to take dancefloors in modern fashion much like the original had done some one and a half decade before it.The Rank 1 Remixes: Rank 1 also has an estimable remix-o-graphy to their name. Freddie Mercury, Ferry Corsten, Push, Cygnus X, Delirium, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Marcel Woods, Cosmic Gate, Mr Sam, Ronald van Gelderen, Angelic, Ayumi Hamasaki, Nu NRG, Conjure One and more have all been given Rank 1’s studio re-touch. Piet the DJ, Benno the Producer: Rank 1 now has two distinct branches to its operation. Benno is in charge of all the Rank 1’s production elements. He co-produced many of the tracks on Armin van Buuren’s long-players ‘Imagine’ (2008) and Mirage (2010) and has been working on the third for a while now. Piet meanwhile takes the role of the globetrotting DJ, spinning at tent-pole events like Dance Valley in his native Holland and numerous international tours (including the US and asia) for the likes of Gatecrasher & Godskitchen. In 2009 Rank 1 found themselves re-entering the DJ Magazine Top 100 at No.77. Rank 1 LIVE: Over recent years, Rank 1 has increasingly come together on stage for their Live performances. They became the first live act to perform at Sensation and famously forced the closure of doors of Trance Energy’s main arena (when 25,000 clubbers packed it out to hear them play). Their kinship with the biggest event in trance music is widely-known and they are the only live act to have rocked Trance Energy 4 times! Outside of that Rank 1 has continued to thrill crowds live at some Europe’s best-known festivals including Mystery Land, Sunrise & Nature One. In 2012 they blew up the stages at the EDC festival in Las Vegas, the Sunrise Festival in Poland and Nature One in Germany respectively. Rank 1 - The Mindset: When it comes to interviews, Benno & Piet are, in essence the ‘Daft Punk’ of trance! Now famously reclusive, they don’t like the term ‘success’ as it implies they have already arrived. Instead, on the few occasions they do speak, they prefer to speak in terms of ‘progression’ & ‘perfection’. Ultimately though they are far happier to let their music do all the talking. Their style incorporates a blend of acoustic elements and electronic sound design, integrating tender and dark with emotive lyrics. Band members initially included producer Josh Gabriel, singer and songwriter Mavie Marcos, and guitarist David Penner. Current members are Mavie and Josh.Andain was founded during the spring of 2001, as Josh joined forces with David and Mavie. The band made its first leap in 2002 with the song Summer Calling after receiving an interest from Tiësto and signing with Black Hole Recordings. This eventually lead to the production of Summer Calling (Josh Gabriel Remix), which was then promoted on Tiësto's compilation album In Search of Sunrise 3: Panama, to later be released as a 12-inch single with Summer Calling (Gabriel & Dresden Remix).The following year saw the release of Andain's second single, Beautiful Things, which became a club hit and would define the band's breakthrough. Making its first appearance on Tiësto's compilation album Nyana, Beautiful Things (Gabriel & Dresden Unplugged Mix) was eventually released as the band's second single. With enthusiastic reception from the dance music scene, it has since become the band's signature track, yielding beyond a dozen remixes from Black Hole over the years.While the sound of Andain would appear to be promoted as club oriented, a batch of leaked demos, namely Time, Get Up, Make Me, Ave Maria and You Once Told Me would reveal a more variegated style of electronica with acoustic elements. And as the demos would denote, an album was planned and in the process of becoming, initially scheduled for a release in 2003. Meanwhile, Beautiful Things earned a nomination for Best Progressive / Trance under the Winter Music Conference 2004, with also Andain being nominated for Best New Dance Group. The year was also marked by a less prominent release from the band, with the track Here is the House, a cover of Depeche Mode, presented on the compilation album Bloom by Gabriel & Dresden.With no further news on the status of the album, Andain was later announced to be working on new material. However, due to high demands from other projects, the group was announced to be temporary suspended in 2006.Andain would eventually reform in 2007 as Mavie and Josh, and the intent was set to create a new album. Two years later, an interview with Josh by would reveal the word of their next single, Promises, although, no word of a possible release date was mentioned at the time. Nevertheless, the word of Andain began to stir into motion again, further supported by the leak of a new demo, Turn Up the Sound.After four years in the making, Andain's new album was handed in to the label in early April, 2011. Subsequently, with Promises getting closer to an official release, the song was given support by some of the most recognized DJs within electronic dance music, being promoted with remixes by the likes of Gabriel & Dresden and Mÿon & Shane 54. Eventually, on June 1, 2011, the original version premièred on YouTube with the official music video, while the single followed on June 6, 2011.As the second single from the upcoming album, Much Too Much was released on January 30, 2012, while the official music video followed on February 2, 2012. The single was later succeeded by a three track remix EP on February 27, 2012, and a standalone remix by Mike Shiver on April 23, 2012.With a third and last single scheduled for release before the album, Turn Up the Sound was selected to make an official release. The single made its debut as a three track remix EP on June 18, 2012, while the album version followed two weeks later, on July 2, 2012, along with additional remixes. Incidentally, the production of the song had been rewritten since its debut in 2009, with exception of the last part of the song, which preserved a revised section of the previous version.On August 10, 2012, the anticipated album was officially announced on Andain's facebook page. Titled You Once Told Me, the record has been set for a release on September 24, 2012 and will feature 11 tracks. Andain will also be touring in 2012, performing as Mavie and instrumentalist Shreddward Braillif, defining their performance with live sampling, drum kits, synthesizers, guitar, piano and bass to create their live sound.For the latest updates, follow Andain on Facebook and Twitter.
http:///images/10750_h_0.jpg
please contact"}

Throughout his childhood, music was a huge part of his daily life. He was pressured by his parents at an early age to take up an instrument, and when he picked up his first guitar in 1998, he quickly showed a talent for it. During this time he developed a love for Daft Punk. In 2001 he moved in with his dad in London. There he got his first computer and was able to kindle his interest for electronic music. Through the internet Matan discovered the vast world of music production. He then got hold of some production software and started developing his own flavour. Matan explored the styles of trance, drum and bass, house, currently going with a more progressive sound. After 3 years, his productions are played by high profile DJs such as DJ Tarkan, Perry O'neil, and Swedish Egil. He became interested in electronic music by discovering Jean-Michel Jarre's first album. After 14 years of jazz music he decided to move into electronic music. He bought his first decks in 1999 and began to DJ. In 2000, he took his first steps in his professional development in the biggest club in the east of France called "Le Colysée". In just one year he had the chance to share the decks with some big names like Cosmic Gate, Darude, U96 and very well known French house DJ, David Guetta.Later, he met and became friends with Nicolas "Cosmic Dreams", DJ & founder of Elektro-Shock, a French electronic music association. During some different events with Elektro-Shock, Ferry met TonKs, and became best friends. In 2001, he created his first project under the name Blackmoon Traxx with his two friends, Stephan & Vincent. After several unfruitful productions it was their remix of Ohm Boys - Thinking of You, one of Alex M.O.R.P.H.'s projects, which was released on Red Silver Rec. (a UK label) & brought Ferry Tayle & Blackmoon Traxx into the public scene.During the summer 2004, Ferry Tayle & TonKs had the honor of sharing the decks with Rank 1 & Alex M.O.R.P.H. during the first big trance event in France. Following this event, Ferry decided to combine the TonKs' sound with Blackmoon Traxx. In November 2004, the new project Everest was born. In December, in search of a vocalist for this project, he met Tashita, a female Belgian artist. In 2005, Everest made their first track called Orée. Released in April 2006 on famous UK label Monster Tunes, Orée was the first turn in Ferry's career. In 2005 the track was featured on famous compilations like Sensation White Holland Edition (ID&T) and Technoclub Next Vol. 2 mixed by the legendary Talla 2XLC, and was massively supported by Paul van Dyk (2 times voted as the best DJ in the world), Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Robert Gitelman, and Stoneface & Terminal.Still in 2005, Ferry Tayle next met David Emonin, a Franco-American fellow who was on the ETN.FM Admin Crew. A few months later, Ferry joined the ETN.FM DJ team and his show Universal Language attracted more & more worldwide attention. In August 2005, Ferry Tayle & Everest did their first live act in Lyon alongside Signum, Niklas Harding, Menno de Jong, Rank 1, Misja Helsloot, Sonicvibe & Nu-NRG.2006 became the second big turn of Ferry Tayle's career. At the beginning of this year, Ferry Tayle met the genius L-Vee (Airwave). He proposed to Ferry to be his co-producer of the famous project Cape Town. In March, Proglifter was born and was the sign of the huge comeback of this project. Supported by Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, DJ Shah, Pedro del Mar, Manuel Le Saux, Proglifter was acclaimed as one of the best tracks of 2006.At the same time, Ferry Tayle begun his solo career with his first track called Vol De Nuit which was supported by the biggest DJ across the world.With more and more successful releases such as Percivalesque and remix work, Ferry Tayle is bound to be one to watch in 2007 and beyond.
http:///images/105064_h_0.jpg
please contact
10602
Arnej
Arney Secerkadic, (music aliases: Arnej, 8 Wonders) is a Canadian trance producer born in Bosnia.Born in Sarajevo, Bosnia September 7, 1980, music first staked its all-important claim in Arnej’s life around age fourteen when an early computer-composed electronica track snagged his interest. What followed was a stretch of exploration and experimentation within the many and various realms of music. Before long, Arnej settled into Euro dance, eventually stumbling upon Psy and Goa trance in the mid-90’s. He devoted his attention to the works of Man With No Name, Astral Projection and Hallucinogen.At that time, the trance sound – which he would grow so passionate about – was still in the process of establishing an identity. By the late 90’s though, trance had thoroughly carved out its niche in the music world and Arnej’s interest in it expanded accordingly. Entranced by its complex soundscapes and harmonies, he set about taking the journey into music production. Although the road of a producer has had its fair share of bumps and curves, Arnej’s commitment to his craft shows no sign of slowing up, as as evidenced by his ever-growing body of work.Some of his more notable and successful tracks include: ‘Rendezvous,’ ‘The Ones That Get Away,’ ‘The Return,’ ‘They Always Come Back’ and ’Strangers We Have Become,’ all of which have gotten positive support from the DJ elite, given exposure by such notable as Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, David Guetta, and Paul Oakenfold, among many others. Arnej has also remixed for some of the most-respected names in trance, including Armin, The Thrillseekers, Mr. Sam, Blake Jarrell and Push, aka M.I.K.E, as well as some of the newer names in trance to pop up in recent years, Evgeny Bardyuzha, Mike Saint-Jules, and Dash Berlin.
http:///images/10602_h_0.jpg
please contact
105072
Mr. Pit
Better known to his family and friends as Adrian Ivan, it’s under the assumed name of Mr Pit that he’s spent the last 5 years delivering one block-rocking track after another to the world’s trance floors.Adrian’s studio story began halfway through the last decade when he produced a clutch of well-received tunes for underground imprints like Grooved, Emotive and Super6. In early 2008 he composed what turned out to be his breakthrough track - the epically melodic ‘Shana’. It was snapped up by Coldharbour Recordings and midway through the year became Pit’s debut release on the label. In a charge led by trance overlord (and Coldharbour label boss) Markus Schulz, the genre’s DJ hierarchy hammered it – turning it into one of the tracks of the year.Thus begun a flourishing artist/label relationship that over the last 4 years has gone from strength to strength and seen the release of over a dozen tracks. Near singlehandedly putting his native Romania on the genre’s map, through tracks like the ‘The Cube’, ‘Vanguard’, the Vicky Fee vocalled ‘Back For More’, ‘Unchanged’ and ‘Deluxe’, Pit established himself as a major production force. Now a cornerstone of the Coldharbour label (and seen by fans as one of its key latter-day sound designers), most recently it’s been the likes of ‘Sky Traffic’, ‘Stamina’ and ‘Overload’ that’s seen Mr Pit continue to reign supreme.From its erstwhile singularly sweeping harmonic/melodic feel, Pit has future-proofed his sound and latterly introduced tougher, gritty more floor-attacking elements to his music. This has seen the demand for his studio skills rise to yet greater levels and he’s now notched releases on High Contrast Nu Breed and Mainframe as well as his own Well Mixed Records. In early 2012 Markus Schulz licensed both of Adrian’s latest studio creations (‘River Of Hearts’ and ‘Pole Position’) to the tracklisting of his City compilation ‘Los Angeles ‘12’In his native Romania he has established an impressive reputation behind the decks, once – one that constantly reaches further and further afield. He’s smashed colossal festivals like Sunrise and Global Gathering in Poland and brought floor uproar to clubs like X2 in Indonesia, Russia’s Matrix and GodsKitchen in the UK. On Sunday Feb 19th, Pit made his US DJ debut, playing the Sunday night of Markus Schulz’s Los Angeles ’12 release parties.Official Website:
http:///images/105072_h_0.jpg
please contact"}
